Well, sort of. Or at least to the extent that anyone can experience Christmas or another holiday at a shop or market entirely devoted to it.

Anyway, the annual Christkindl Market (krist-kint) is back! Now returning to Skyline Park, right along the 16th Street Mall, for its 11th consecutive year of holiday festivities, the Christkindl market is a traditional German Christmas Market that boasts a diverse variety of European and artisan goods, traditional holiday foods and drink (German cocoa = amazing! Also try the Glühwein (spiced mulled wine) if you’re of legal drinking age), as well as plenty of traditional music and entertainment.

Per German tradition, the Christkind (Christ Child/Baby Jesus) takes the visage of an angel or sprite and brings gifts on Christmas Eve.

The Christkindl Market is a great way to learn about and experience another cultures Christmas celebration, and a great chance to purchase some wonderful holiday gifts, and taste some terrific German cuisine.

Plus, it’s a FREE event!

Skyline Park is 15 minutes from The 4550 Cherry Creek Apartments.
